Civil War letters, 1862-1863.

Letters to his family in Campton, NH, while he was serving in Company B of the Fifteenth New Hampshire Regiment. The letters describe his movements from New Hampshire to Louisiana where his unit was stationed. Plummer was 35 years old when he joined the regiment in 1862. He was taken ill in Carrollton, Louisiana, and died there on February 16, 1863.
